Lefsa Basics

A tub of lefsa was left at my house after the Christmas celebration. There was a lot of it. Leah and I really had a *difficult* time eating it all. In about five days. Ok, it was awesome.

Here's how to make lefsa the Roholt way:

1. Smear on the Butter

2. Sprinkle on the Sugar

3. It Looks Like This!

4. Roll It On UP!

5. Eat and Enjoy!

According to my Grams, my Great-Grandma used a lot of sugar. She also would make lefsa by hand in the basement where she had an extra stove -- once a year. Grams says she'd be there all day covered in flour. The lefsa would then be passed around as holiday gifts.
